Playing not to lose?

Playing not to lose is completely different to playing to win. When you get to the semi-final of any major sporting it is not uncommon for this type of conservative play to take hold. Rather than taking risks and playing positive football teams look at minimizing mistakes and not losing at all cost. It makes for uninspiring viewing but predictable outcomes.

Cameroon vs Ghana will not be a scoring spectacle and there will be less than 2.5 goals scored in this game. If you add to this the fact that in the past 17 games these teams have played against opposition only 3 have had 3 or more goals. At 4/10 this still offers good value and I am putting R500 to win R200 plus my stake back, sexy by no means but practical.
